Windgate II is located a short walk from Shirlington Village, site of the Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre, a branch of the Arlington Public Library, Harris Teeter grocery store, cinema, coffee shops, and many fine restaurants. A new Hilton Garden Inn opened in January 2010.
						Runners and cyclists can take the Four Mile Run Trail from in front of our property south to the Potomac River and Mount Vernon Trail. The WO&D Trail, which runs all the way to Leesburg, starts two blocks away. Our swimming pool is open during the summer and the tennis courts are available year round. The community is well-suited to dog walking, on the property and nearby trails.
								TRANSPORTATION Express buses run from South Arlington Mill Drive to the Pentagon Metro stop every ten minutes in the morning and evening--a twelve minute ride to connect with the Blue and Yellow lines for your commute to downtown Washington. Arlington County's ARTS buses run frequently throughout the day to Ballston and the Pentagon Metro.
