On Oct 19, 2016, at the monthly board meeting, our board voted unanimously to award the Windgate II management contract to a new company, beginning Jan 1, 2017: FirstService Residential.
The following night, at the annual meeting, Board President Geoff Hughes discussed the process by which the board had arrived at this decision. In his remarks, the President's Report
, President Hughes noted that during the 10-month process of arriving at this decision, the board had distributed a number of documents to Windgate II unit owners. Those documents are described and linked to below.

On January 12, 2016, the presidents of Windgate II and III announced a task force
“to review our management contract with KPA, and research alternatives.” The task force developed a request for proposals and invited management companies to respond.
On July 28, Windgate II and III board presidents invited all residents to a special meeting
on August 23 at which three companies would make presentations. (One company withdrew.)
