Arlington County recently kicked off an 18-month planning initiative for the Four Mile Run Valley (4MRV) area, which borders Windgate II to the north, and includes Shirlington Park, Jennie Dean Park and Nauck Town Square. There are Windgate residents participating in the 4MRV Working Group, which will meet at the Trades Center up to 2 times per month. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
