Windgate II is located on S. Arlington Mill Drive 22206. Addresses range from 2500 to 2572 -- all on S. Arlington Mill Drive 20006.

DIRECTIONS TO WINDGATE II 
 
From DC (6 miles):
 
  • Take I-395 South to Exit 7 Glebe Rd/Shirlington.
  • As you take Exit 7 Glebe Rd/Shirlington, get in the left exit lane and follow signs toward Shirlington (do not take the far right Glebe Rd exit).
  • Once you pass the Glebe Rd exit, get in the right lane and (in 200 yards) veer right onto the exit ramp that ends (in 300 feet) at a stoplight.
  • At the stoplight, go straight on S Arlington Mill Dr for 1/2 mile.
  • After passing Taylor St, look for the left turn lane, and turn left into Windgate II.
  • Drive 40 feet to the stop sign.
  • For units 2500 - 2534, turn right. For units, 2536 - 2560, turn left. 
  • Please note that you must park either on a street outside Windgate, or in a designated visitor parking area (for the latter, borrow the "visitor parking" sign from your host and hang it from your rearview mirror).

From Springfield (8 miles):
 
  • Take I-395 North to Exit 6 Shirlington and follow the signs to Shirlington.
  • As ramp crosses back over 395, immediately merge into the far right lane to exit.
  • Once on exit ramp, stay in the left lane to turn left at the first stoplight onto S Arlington Mill Dr.
  • After passing Taylor St, look for the left turn lane, and turn left into Windgate II.
  • Drive 40 feet to the stop sign.
  • For units 2500 - 2534, turn right. For units, 2536 - 2560, turn left.

From Falls Church (5 miles):
 
  • Take Route 7 Eastbound to light at Walter Reed Dr (Wachovia Bank and Friday's are on the corners).
  • Turn left onto Walter Reed Dr.
  • At 2nd light, turn right onto Wakefield.
  • Wakefield deadends into Windgate II (just past the Heatherlea condos).

From Old Town Alexandria (5 miles):
 
  • Take Route 7 Westbound, crossing over I-395, to light at Walter Reed Dr. (Wachovia Bank and Friday's are on the corners).
  • Turn left onto Walter Reed Dr.
