Pets
Well-behaved pets are welcome and abundant in our community!
If you have a pet or are considering getting one, you will want to read carefully the bylaws and Policy Resolution #93-1 - Pet Restrictions.
Highlights of the Windgate II pet policy:
- You must comply with all provisions of Chapter 2 -- Animals and Fowl of the Arlington County Code.
- All pets must be on a leash or carried while in the common areas and accompanied by their owner or designated caretaker at all times.
- All pets must be registered and vaccinated as required by law.
- You must immediately remove and dispose of all pet feces deposited in the common areas.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool area with the exception of service animals (e.g., seeing eye dogs).

You are responsible for any and all damage or injury caused by your pets.
Also, two dog parks are nearby. Shirlington Dog Park is across the street, and Fort Barnard Park for dogs is a 5-minute drive. Also, the Animal Welfare League of Arlington is next door to us.
